A raw and darkly comedic performance which delves into a societal taboo- female ambition. As Sarah Jones grapples with rejection and isolation from her dream career, she finds herself consumed by desperation, and begins to question just how far she’s willing to push herself to bring her aspirations to life. Our protagonist Sarah Jones has been described to be a 21st century Lady Macbeth, as her cut-throat desire to succeed will stop at nothing, even if it means confronting her darkest secrets...
Compared to Succession, Fleabag, Mad Men, and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, this play is unstoppable cultural moment.
I am a passionate actor and playwright, bringing my artistic vision to life in a powerful one-woman play set to debut at the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe Festival in the summer of 2025. With a deep love for storytelling and performance, I crafted this play at the age of 16, pouring my creativity and fresh perspective into every scene. Now, at 17, I will step onto the stage, offering audiences an intimate and compelling theatrical experience.
If you are unable to make it up to Edinburgh fringe this year, we have a preview performance at the Etcetera theatre in Camden NW1 on July 13th
Electra Kolb commenced her screen career with a notable debut in the short film Swallow, working alongside BAFTA-winning actress Cathy Tyson and award-winning director Katerina Philippou-Curtis.
"This young actress, who also penned the script, delivers a tour de force that is as precise and controlled as it is emotionally volatile...My only complaint? It ended too soon. Kolb’s performance is flawless, almost balletic in its precision — a riveting piece from a remarkable emerging talent."
“At just 17, Kolb commands a piece that is brilliantly bold & bristling with ambition...Funny, ferocious & devastatingly controlled, it’s an impressive,
star-is-born debut.”
